The incident occurred in the early hours of Christmas morning at a home in the South Laredo district. What began as a holiday celebration escalated into a confrontation involving a firearm.

- The Shooting: Following a verbal dispute during the party, a male suspect allegedly produced a handgun and opened fire. One victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
- The Standoff: When Laredo Police Department (LPD) officers arrived at the scene, the suspect retreated into the house and refused to come out, prompting authorities to establish a perimeter and treat the situation as a barricaded subject.
- The Discovery: After obtaining a search warrant and clearing the residence, officers discovered the suspect hiding inside a bathroom.
Police Response and Arrest
